Boomy, a California-based start up that allows people to create original songs with artificial intelligence, has publicly launched its music AI creation tool.
The company says that during its beta phase its users created 110,376 songs. The tool allows music creators to directly submit songs to music streaming services and get paid royalties when people stream them.
“We’re driven by a strong belief that making meaningful music should be simple and accessible to everyone, regardless of time commitment, access to resources, or even talent,” the company said in its blog announcement. “That isn’t just lip service, it guides our engineering and product, so with this release we’ve made sure boomy can run on basically anything.”
The company says a $20 smartphone can run every feature of Boomy, including advanced editing, and will release a dedicated mobile app in the near future.
